Yet again, today we were blessed with the weather - it mostly stayed dry and patches of sunshine were in evidence!! After breakfast the groups went to their first activities which were as in the previous days, however gorge walking started up today too.
As predicted, the wetsuit putting on was the greatest challenge of the day, however they were well worth it as the water from the stream was cold!
We had homemade curry and sticky toffee pudding for dinner which set us up for this evening. Tonight the children can choose whether they want to go for a torch walk and camp fire in the grounds or stay inside for games.
We enjoy circle time at the end of the day where the children nominate friends in their group who have displayed our Park Values such as kindness, resilience, perseverance etc. They tell the rest of the group who they have nominated and why. It is a lovely way to finish the day and will set us up for another successful night.
