Weather Station at Park

The new weather station is here!  Park have received a fabulous gift paid for by Friends of Park Junior School - their very own weather station.

Our new piece of equipment has everything a budding meteorologist needs. The children will be able to check the temperature, observe the direction of the wind, measure wind speed and make predictions on forthcoming weather using the barometer and hygrometer (which measures water content in the air).

Our new addition will allow children to make more use of our outside area as well as gain an understanding of the world around them.

Once again we would like to thank Friends of Park for fundraising to provide such a super gift,  we know the children are very much looking forward to using it.
