3JW Community Tea - Friday 22nd September. Come along and have tea and cake with us!

School Council

At Park School we believe it is important for the children to feel part of the school community and have representatives who can feedback and help in some decision making. The school council meets weekly and has representatives from every year group. It chooses the charity the school follows for the year and produces weekly minutes of meetings to enable staff to keep up to date with what has been discussed.
 As you know we have several mufti days throughout the year and one big sponsored event, these raise money for the charity which is chosen by the School Council.

Children who wish to be a School Council rep apply to their class. In years 4,5, and 6 this is done by letter stating why they believe they would be good at the job. In year 3 the children present their reasons vocally. The children then vote who they would like their rep to be. Each year the year 6 reps get the jobs of Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer and Vice chair.

We have had lots of success over the past few years and believe the children can achieve great things.

The reps for this year are;

no being voted in this week!
