A very warm welcome to 4VdB class page.

Happy new year!

We are really excited about the Spring Term with all the children in 4VdB. We have some fun lessons and activities planned.

Working alongside the children in 4VdB will be myself (Mrs de Boer) and Mrs Johnson, who is my Teaching Assistant. We are looking forward to working with all the children in our class.

There is information on all of our units of work for the term in the Year 4 newsletter.

Our P.E. days are Wednesdays (pacesetters) and Thursdays (swimming). On a Wednesday, please come to school in your P.E. kit. A reminder that P.E. kit needs to be a plain white T.shirt, black shorts and trainers. Jogging bottoms and a jumper can be worn for outdoor P.E. Jewellery (including earrings) must be removed for P.E. and long hair has to be tied back. On a Thursday, please come to school in your school uniform. You will need to bring your swimming costume, hat and towel in a separate bag.

Homework will continue to be set using a grid with a choice of tasks for the children to complete. We are looking forward to seeing some creative and well presented homework this term.

Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any queries or worries - we are here to help and you will find us on the playground at the end of most school days.
