At Park Junior School, we believe it is important for the children to feel part of the school community and have representatives who can feedback and help in some decision making. Student Council is led by Mrs de Boer. Each class has two Student Council representatives, chosen by their class, and two reserve representatives. Regular meetings are held, which enable children from different year groups to communicate with one another and hear about the goings on from across the school. 

During some meetings, Student Council discuss issues that have been raised by Mr Tebbutt. Each class has a suggestions box which is brought to each meeting. The Student Council discuss any suggestions and decide which need to be taken further and which can be sorted out in class or by the Sports Crew. At other times, the Student Council take an active part in charity events, such as creating posters to advertise events such as 'Children in Need' day.

Student Council have had lots of success over the past few years and believe the children can achieve great things.
