Today we woke up for our first full day at the centre. We had a very good night and the children didn't wake up too early which was a bonus. Each activity group enjoyed 2 activities today, one before lunch and one after. The activities ranged from visiting Harlech castle, kayaking, gorge walking and wilderness skills.

The children have been fabulous today showing a whole host of amazing values. They have been kind to each other and showed real resilience when tackling the new challenges they have come across, especially putting the wetsuits on!

They have also taken on board the new routines of the centre and everything is working very smoothly and the children are feeling very much at home.

Tonight we have finished off with a quiz and a camp fire and a circle time where the staff and children have nominated others they have been very impressed by and given them a 'shout out' with the reasons. It was such a lovely time.

The children are just having their hot chocolate before bedtime ready for another busy day tomorrow.
