Our new school Eco Council is a group of enthusiastic pupils who work together to make Park Junior School a greener, cleaner and more environmentally friendly place. They will aim to share ideas, raise awareness and lead projects to help protect our planet, from reducing waste and improving recycling to caring for our school grounds and wildlife.
We believe that even small changes can make a big difference! Our Eco Council gives pupils a voice, encourages teamwork and helps everyone in our school community take responsibility for looking after our environment, both now and for the future.
We have lots of exciting plans and cannot wait to get started and share these with our whole school community.
Got clothes that your children have outgrown, or items that are no longer worn? Don’t throw them away – save them for our Eco Council clothing collection!
Our Eco Council is teaming up with The Little Recyclers to give unwanted clothes a new lease of life while raising money for our school!
Bring your unwanted clothes into school on Friday 8th January.
And here’s the exciting bit… if we collect more than 200kg of clothing, school will receive 45p for every kilogram collected! That means the more we collect, the more money we can raise to help make a difference at school.
So, next time you’re having a wardrobe clear-out, bag up those outgrown and unwanted clothes and keep them for us!
🌍 Clear out your cupboards + help the planet + raise money for our school! 🌍
