Wednesday 23rd September

Today the children woke up again at 7am which gave us enough time to get down to breakfast. We had a whole variety of activities again and the weather followed the pattern we had yesterday of warm drizzle in the morning and hot sun in the afternoon. The walk between the centres is getting easier each time and the children today managed very well with the challenge of the wetsuit application!! The Gorge walking was definitely a hit and the jumping into the water after a good kayak session went down very well.

Tonight, after another great meal with a popular dessert of sticky toffee pudding, the children split into those who preferred to stay in and play in the games room and those who wanted a campfire in the dark, playing games and toasting marshmallows followed by a torch walk in the woodland on the site which was great fun.

The children have gone to bed well again and the main reflection of the day is how good everyone in this group is at having a go and just wanting to make the most of every activity they do. No challenge is too much for this group of children!
