We had a great journey today - the traffic flowed and we managed to keep to all our timings. Of course, the lovely sunny weather made all the difference and our visit to Barmouth beach was amazing in the sun and heat. The children really enjoyed the freedom of the beach after sitting for a long time on the coach and some amazing sand castles were built along with some holes so deep that they found water! As promised we visited the ice cream shop with all their unique flavours and arrived at Pensarn Harbour ready for our walk up to the centre accommodation. The walk there wasn't easy the first time but we made it in time to go to our rooms and then have dinner.

After dinner we went on our beach walk which meant us walking to the beach using our torches and then looking around the beach by torch light. It was a lovely unique experience.

The children are now in bed and all have been great at going to sleep which is good as it means they will be ready for the start of activities tomorrow.
