School Meals
Lunchtimes
Lunchtimes provide an opportunity for children across the school to eat together and enjoy playing in the playground. We operate two sittings, with children seated in mixed year‑group tables. This encourages new friendships and allows older pupils to support younger ones.
Children may choose a hot school meal or bring a packed lunch in a clearly named lunch bag or container.
We actively promote healthy eating. Please do not send sweets, chocolate bars, fizzy drinks, cans, or glass bottles. All necessary utensils for packed lunches (e.g., spoons) should be included in lunchboxes. Nut products must not be brought into school due to severe allergies.
Dolce School Meals
Our school meals are prepared by Dolce Schools Catering. A wide selection is available daily, including vegetarian options, jacket potatoes, packed lunch choices, and hot meals. Meals are ordered online through SchoolGrid.
Meals cost: £2.90 per day.
SchoolGrid Account
To access school meals, you will need a SchoolGrid account. Please provide your email address to the school office so that an account can be activated. You will then receive login details directly from SchoolGrid.
Through SchoolGrid you can:
- Pre‑order meals
- View recipes, ingredients, and allergen information
- Make payments
Allergies
If you experience difficulty selecting the correct allergen information, please contact Dolce Customer Care. They will assist in ensuring your child’s dietary needs are correctly recorded.
Payments
Online Card Payments:
Payments can be made through your SchoolGrid account. Log in and select Account → Pay by card, then follow the on‑screen instructions.
Free School Meals
To check eligibility for Free School Meals, please contact your local authority. Once eligibility is confirmed, the local authority will notify the school, and your SchoolGrid account will be updated accordingly.
