Firstly, I would like to wish you all a happy and prosperous new year and welcome you to 2026 with the exciting information on our forthcoming terms. 

This is a fantastic period as the children begin a new history topic on the Romans & their impact on Britain.  After half-term, the children will then study ‘From North to South ‘ & how spaces in England differ in the subject area of Geography. These topics are always enjoyed immensely by the children, and our history focus is further enhanced for the children with a school trip to Flag Fen. 

We continue to study English, Maths, RE, Art & Design, and Science, with links to these subjects also covered in our new topics.

 Information for your diary:

PE continues to be on a Wednesday afternoon (Gymnastics/Dance) & a Friday morning (Balance & Coordination).  It is imperative that the children attend school in their outdoor PE kit for the foreseeable future.

Please also check your child’s book bag for information on the forthcoming trip to Flag Fen on Wednesday, February 11th.

However, if you have any concerns or problems in the meantime, then please do not hesitate to contact me or Ms Baker.
