Happy Hump Day guys.

Your tasks for today are:

English: You English for today is to work through some of the powerful adjectives activities. You do not need to do all 10 of these sheets by any means, but choose a couple of adjectives and see if you can complete the sentences using synonyms of the original word.

Maths: Your Maths today is continuing with our work on time and specifically the days, months and years today. Remember to look at the crib sheet to help you if you need it.

Science: Work your way through the ppt which discusses burning and fire safety. Your challenge today is to create a poster on your understanding of fire safety.

Have a lovely day,

Miss Morris and Mr Fordham.

Your brain teaser for today is: Which letter of the alphabet has the most water?

Fact of the day:

The word quarantine comes from quarantena, meaning "forty days", used in the 14th–15th-centuries Venetian language and designating the period that all ships were required to be isolated before passengers and crew could go ashore during the plague epidemic.
