Good Morning Everyone,
Have we still all been starting the day with some exercise of some form! I’ve still been doing the Joe Wicks ever day! It’s been getting easier the more I do it but it is still really good to do in the morning!
Your tasks for today are:
English: Today we would like you to write a postcard or letter to someone. This could be a friend, family member or maybe someone famous. Tell them about all the activities you have been doing over the past 5 weeks in lockdown. Have you learnt anything new? Perhaps you could even get an adult to help you send the letter too if you can. We have attached a template for a postcard and letter if you wish to use them.
Maths: Your maths for today is based on calculating perimeter. Remember that the perimeter is the distance all the way around the outside of a 2D shape. To work out the perimeter, add up the lengths of all the sides. Remember to show your unit of measurement e.g. cm/m/Km. The link below is there to help you if you need it. https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/topics/zvmxsbk/articles/zsr4k7h
Art: Today we would like you to create an optical illusion. The document below explains this and what we would like you to do J
Have a lovely day,
Miss Morris and Mr Fordham.
The answer to the brain teaser yesterday was: They are pronounced differently when the first letter is capitalized.
Your brain teaser for today is: In 1990, a person is 15 years old. In 1995, that same person is 10 years old. How can this be?
Fact of the day: Slugs have 4 noses.
