Happy Chooseday guys. If you could choose to be anything today, what would you be?
Your tasks for today are:
English: Your English today is to have a go at creating your own sentences using the sentence starters sheet. If you don’t have a dice, you can use a random number generator or just write the numbers 1-6 on small pieces of paper and pick on at random. You can do this independently even though the sheet says to work in pairs or groups. Challenge yourself to write at least 5 different sentences.
Maths: Your maths this week is linked to time and today’s focus is ‘Compare and convert units of time’. Check out the maths crib sheet for support and your work is below.
Computing: For some of you working on the computers and typing lots is quite tricky. So for computing today we would like you to have a go on the bitesize typing game.
There are four levels to play, each divided into three stages.
You start by learning the home row keys. Each stage builds on previous lessons, introducing new letters as you progress. You’ll soon be touch typing like an expert! At the end of each level you can test your typing speed and get a fun reward.
Play for as much or as little as you like, and this doesn’t just have to be done today.
Have a lovely day,
Miss Morris and Mr Fordham.
The answer to the brain teaser yesterday was: A HEARTBEAT
Your brain teaser for today is: If you throw a blue stone into the Red Sea, what will it become?
Fact of the day: Cats cannot taste the sweet things.
