Year 3/4 Hockey Team Win East Northants Championships

Many congratulations to our Year 3 and 4 hockey team who successfully won the East Northants Hockey Tournament this week.  The group stages were very competitive and played Warwick, Yardley Hastings and St Peters.  Having won 2 games and drawing 1, we qualified as group winners for the quarter finals were we beat Croyland 6-1.  The semi final was against Great Addington and we managed to beat them 3-1.  On we marched to the final where we met Finedon.  This was a very closely fought affair with the score 2-2 at half time and 4-4 after full time.  Fortunately we won on the golden goal scored by Todd.  Many congratulations to the whole team including Shaynan, Nyah, Amelia, Raiessa, Todd and Kyril.  The team now qualifies for the County Finals to be played in July at the Summer Games.
