Friday 3rd April
Friday 3rd April 2020
It’s FRIDAY! And the last day before the Easter break! Whilst we won’t be replying to emails throughout the 2-week period we will upload some activities to keep you busy in case you wanted to still do some work.
Your work for today however is…
English – Your English for today is reading and grammar based. Take a look at the inference challenge and the grammar on Fronted Adverbial and work through these.
Maths – Your maths for today is attached below with a focus of multiplication and division. There is a crib sheet below to help if you if need it.
Art – We would love for you to get creative today and produce some art based on the story you wrote on Thursday. This could be the illustrations for the book, a front cover or something to compliment the story. You can use whatever resources you have at home, or just pencil or pen sketches. Remember that it is still art though so don’t rush it and try and plan your work first.
The answer to the brain teaser yesterday was: A skull
Fact of the day:
In 2009, Stephen Hawking held a reception for time travellers, but didn’t publicise it until after. This way, only those who could time travel would be able to attend. Nobody else attended.
We hope you have a lovely Easter and we shall talk again on Monday 20th April.
Take care and stay safe.
Miss Morris & Mr Fordham.
