Friday 3rd July

Friday 3rd July

Your tasks for today:

English: Spellings: This week is a continuation of homophones and near-homophones.

Maths: View the perimeter challenge cards below. We would like you to create your own perimeter shapes in your books based on the descriptions given.

Get off the screens: Get reading! What would you most like to learn about? Can you find out more about it in books? Perhaps you can find a new hobby?

Have a good day,

Miss Morris and Mr Fordham.

Brain Teaser:

Answer to yesterday’s Brain Teaser: What is easy to get into, but hard to get out of? Trouble!

The more you take away, the bigger this becomes. What is it?

Fact of the Day:

Turkey consumes the most tea per person. Although Turkish coffee is popular, tea is the bigger of the staples. Per capita, Turks drink almost 7 pounds of tea every year.

Even England doesn’t drink that much!
