Friday 15th May

Friday 15th May 2020

Wow! We have got to the end of another week of lockdown! Don’t forget we are both in school today so out emails might be delayed or even non-existent.

Your tasks for today are:

English: For today we thought we would try something new and use the Bitesize English lesson. Yes, we know the date is not today’s date, but this is a good session for us to work on. You simply click the link and follow your way through the lesson on alliteration and onomatopoeia.  There are a number of activities at the end, you do not need to do all of these. You could perhaps choose one or do a couple.

Please let us know how you feel about this type of activity because if you don’t like it then we won’t use it again J

Maths: Your Maths today is continuing with your work on time with today’s focus looking at 24-hour. Remember to use the crib sheet to help you and then select the level most appropriate for you.

RE: This term your RE unit would have been faiths in action. Mrs Morton has kindly helped us out in providing some activities for you to be able to do. Your first task is to look at a map of Wellingborough https://www.google.com/maps/@52.3010865,-0.695345,15z?hl=en-US

Then how many different religious buildings you can find?

You could list the street names or plot them on the attached map if you are able to print it off.

How many different religions are represented?

Have a lovely day and weekend and talk Monday,

Miss Morris and Mr Fordham.

Brain Teaser:

The answer to the brain teaser yesterday was:  She was reading Braille.

Your brain teaser for today is: I come in many different colours and I get bigger when I’m full. I will float away if you don’t tie me down and I will make a loud sound if I break. What am I?

Fact of the day:  A cockroach can live 9 days without his head.
